Health Care in Rural Malawi

Currently Malawi is classified as one of the poorest countries in the world, using an index that combines life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators. Faced with many economic, social, and political challenges, Malawi needs help from external sources to address the many factors plaguing the population. Health care is no exception.

In 2001, Lifeline Malawi was invited by the Ngodzi community and its leaders to begin to give vital health care to a community in great need. With the help of generous supporters, our clinic has grown over many years to become the Lifeline Malawi Health Centre, offering wide-ranging services and care, plus outreach and health education to a population of over 200,000 people.
With the hope God has given us, we work towards a bright and healthy future for Malawians, placing our trust in His continuous blessings.
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
