Provide Antenatal services including antiretroviral therapy
Ensure the safe delivery of each baby through the provision of trained health care workers (i.e. nurses) working in a well equipped maternity ward
Provide post maternity health services to the mother and/or child as may be necessary
Prevent Mother to Child transmission of HIV/AIDS by screening all pregnant mothers and providing nevirapine pre delivery to mom and for infant post delivery
Liaise with Traditional Birth Attendants to expand coverage of this population
Expand family planning by linking in with government program to get Norplant teaching, vasectomy, tubal ligation, IUD insertion, expanded female condom and condom use.
